Description¶

The News Feeds Edit/New Category page allows administrators to create or edit News Feed Categories for better organisation of multiple News Feeds.

How to Access¶

• Select Components → News Feeds → Categories from the Administrator menu. Then ...
  • Select the New Toolbar button to create a new category.
  • Select a title link in the Title column to edit an existing category.

Category tab¶

• Description The description for the item. Category and Subcategory descriptions may be shown on web pages, depending on the parameter settings.

Options tab¶

• Layout Select a layout from the available choices.
• Image Choose an image to be displayed with this category in the Frontend.
• Image Description (Alt Text) Alternative text used for screen readers.
• No Description Decorative Image - no description required.
